Come on, Come out, Come here.

Oh, wait. I think I found myself tonight in Snow Patrol.

Oh

You know how we like to turn to our iTunes to sort of ease ourselves? I’d like to think it’s an Asian thing to self medicate but I presume non-Asians practice this musical medicine thing so I guess not.

So I’m trying to figure out exactly what song would depict my current state of being because I don’t know.

It’s not Brandon Flowers or The Killers because that reminds me of Las Vegas which reminds me that I am not going to U of Reno. Not that I wanted it very much, but it reminds me of Florida for some strange reason and it makes me sad that I didn’t get U of Florida. South of Florida sent me an email to say they were sorry that they reviewed my credits wrongly. Ugh.

I’m not feeling sexy enough for The Coasters. I can’t listen to Katy Perry because me jammin’ to California Gurls just makes me think about the university I AM going to. It’s not even that I don’t like my prospective uni, it’s just that I’m actually going to be a California girl/gurl/gal soon and it sort of irks me for some strange reason. Justice…no. Kasabian…no. Madonna…I have no strength to roll around in bed and lip sync. And BRMC is just not going to cut it right now.

Explosions in The Sky is going to have to do for now.

Guess it’s true when they say, you don’t have the words for something just say nothing.

How to love a woman.
“You may not be her first, her last, or her only. She loved before she may love again. But if she loves you now, what else matters? She’s not perfect - you aren’t either, and the two of you may never be perfect together but if she can make you laugh, cause you to think twice, and admit to being human and making mistakes, hold onto her and give her the most you can. She may not be thinking about you every second of the day, but she will give you a part of her that she knows you can break - her heart. So don’t hurt her, don’t change her, don’t analyze and don’t expect more than she can give. Smile when she makes you happy, let her know when she makes you mad, and miss her when she’s not there. -Bob Marley

At first I was a little sketchy on taking love advice from Mr Marley. But then I looked at myself and smiled and thought…how could I not?

The Greek word for return is nostos. Algos means suffering. So nostalgia is the suffering caused by an unappeased yearning to return.
